DR HETAL SHAH: Founder & Director
Dr. Hetal Shah is a PhD Pharmacologist and Gold (Double) Medalist from L. M. College of Pharmacy; and brings > 22 years of experience in Clinical Research and Medical Writing through her versatile industry roles.
She is a GCP‑trained professional with a rare combination of hands‑on exposure across clinical sites and CROs, and was privileged to be part of India’s landmark COVAXIN trial team during the COVID-19 pandemic.
She was a Young Investigator’s Awards Finalist at the American College of Cardiology Conference 2006, and has 70+ publications and presentations across national and international forums to her credit as author/co-author/professional acknowledgements.
Dr Shah is a recognized industry leader; serves as a Subject Matter Expert, Trainer, Mentor, and Speaker in medical writing, contributing to capacity building for clinicians, research professionals, industry teams, and students. Dr Shah also serves as a domain expert for AI/ML collaboration for Medical Writing.
She holds multiple leadership roles, including Section Editor – Medical Writing for Perspectives in Clinical Research (PICR), and long‑standing contributions to the Indian Society for Clinical Research (ISCR) as a life-member, and served as Medical Writing Council Member & Western Chapter Member (since 2019), ex Co‑Chair (2024–2025) for MW council, and RWE Council (2026). She is also a Life Member of Indian Society of Training and Development, and an active Member, SME and Speaker at DIA India Forums, where she mentors globally under the DIA Global Mentorship Program.
Dr. Shah’s entrepreneurial and leadership achievements include the ISCR Hall‑of‑Fame Award (2021–2023), the Woman Entrepreneur in Pharma & Healthcare Award (2019), and certification under NSRCEL – IIM Bangalore’s Women Startup Program, reflecting her impact on India’s scientific, academic and innovation ecosystems. She is also a registered Mentor with NITI Aayog’s Women Entrepreneurship Platform (WEP) (G20‑aligned mentorship ecosystem by Gov. of India). Very recently, she is chosen for the Goldman Sachs’ fully funded ’10,000 Women’ Program for March 2026 Cohort at IIM, Ahmedabad.
A sought-after trainer and mentor, she has trained 3,000+ professionals including clinicians, pharma professional and medical/pharma students since 2008 and continues to advocate for excellence in scientific communication worldwide, and actively drives capability‑building in medical and scientific writing.
